Drywall and painting in Esko
Esko is a small, growing community in Thomson Township, between Duluth and Cloquet off Interstate 35. Much of it is newer homes on larger rural lots, which means a lot of new construction, basement finishing, and heated garages and shops that owners want finished inside.
New homes and basements
For new homes, drywall is hung after framing, insulation and inspections, then taped, mudded and sanded for a smooth finish. Basements in newer Esko homes are often straightforward to finish and a practical way to add bedrooms or a family room.
Garages and shops
Out here, a heated garage or pole-building shop is often as important as the house. Finishing the interior with drywall makes it easier to heat, cleaner to work in and better looking. Where a garage is attached to the house, the shared wall and ceiling may need fire-rated board, and we hang and finish it to suit.
Paint to finish the job
Once the drywall is finished, we can prime and paint it, and we also paint exteriors and stain decks when the weather allows.
